A semi-trailer and car collided on the Pátyod section of Highway 49 on Thursday morning.
As a result of the collision, both vehicles were driven into a ditch. Professional firefighters of Csengeri Municipality and from Mátészalka, who carried out the technical rescue, lifted two people out of the car with the help of the ambulance.
The affected road section was closed for the duration of the rescue, the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County Disaster Management Directorate reported.
